The Ladies XV played their first away game of the season when they traveled to nearby Pontarddulais RFC. The girls battled hard in what was only their third ever game but Pontarddulais' greater experience paid off with them running out 55-5 victors. There were a number of great individual performances with some outstanding tackles from the girls and this game will be another vital step in the development of the team. The girls put in a number of good passages of play one of which resulted in scrum half Catrin Evans-Williams running in for an unconverted try in the second half. The Piod Pinc travel to Cilfynydd RFC for their next game on Sunday, 29 January.
